OPEN TASK 2
I extended one of images from my [Siteworks II] work to produce a gif.
I am in love with the 1960s and 70s minimalism and conceptual art movement, and I find a lot of my views of art influenced by the attitudes of that time.
For example, right after my first studio session in week 1, I felt very passionate and dramatic about art and wrote myself a manifesto-type list of 'rules' for my art:

INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOSHOP

Having minimal previous experience with photoshop, I found this task difficult.
At first, I was stuck just duplicating my teapot and changing its size and cutting out parts of the teapot which hardly disfigured the image or created any intrigue. Once I figured out how to stretch images on x, y and z axes, I started to create shapes that resembled less of the original image.
The needle-like form was my favourite, so I wanted to make it the central focus.
To create asymmetry, I positioned the forms and the dark red flowers at the top of the page. I made the background yellow to maintain harmony and keep to a minimalist aesthetic.
